After clearing Bachelor's degree, you can pursue the master degree. If you want to get admission in government colleges, you have to appear for the national level exam like GATE. Some universities conduct their own entrance test. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts Geologist exam for Central Government Agencies.

For a science stream student, IIT JAM exam is the best option to pursue Masters.
It is a Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. which is conducted by IITs and IIsc for Integrated PhD Degree Programs at IISc Bangalore and M.Sc. (2 years), Joint M.Sc.-PhD, M.Sc.-PhD Dual Degree, M.Sc.-M.Tech., M.Sc.-M.S. (Research)/PhD Dual Degree and other Post-Bachelor Degree Programs at IITs.
Candidates who are qualified or in a qualifying year of graduation can apply for this exam.

Hi Pranav,
You will have the better answer to this, if you don't have much interest in programming then find out areas of interest, do you like database management, analysis, information management, general management, etc. You can decide accordingly. Also it is not necessary you choose CSE for your Masters, study what you want so that you succeed in your career.

Hi Vinay,
Yes, for almost all MS programs in USA you must take the GRE. For some creative courses like designing, etc. It is not required and will depend on the university.

To be considered for application you must take the GRE and TOEFL. Apart from these exams you must have a very strong all-rounded profile, excellent academic grades in your Bachelor's degree, outstanding project work and research work, if you have publications it's very good, a good number of extracurricular activities are also seemed.
