I am partially satisfied with the infrastructure and faculty members. But they can do much better.

Placements: The campus interviews were okay. Only a few companies visited the campus for recruitment. Some students got shortlisted by Reliance, but they didn't hire anyone. Few students got selected in o2h Ahmedabad with an annual salary package of 2 LPASo I would rate placements as below average.

Infrastructure: This university has the best infrastructure in the Saurashtra region but is not best when compared to other good universities. It has good basic infrastructure like a library, hostel, computer lab, and a below-average gym. But it lacks in sports, advanced labs, and classroom quality.

Faculty: Our college has fairly knowledgeable teachers but not so helpful. The curriculum of the university is not relevant to make students industry-ready. The irreverent curriculum is responsible for students getting rejected in campus interviews because they were asked about something they never studied.

Other: I chose this course because I am ambitious about my future in this field.

It is the best university in Saurashtra.

Placements: The college provides good placements. Many companies visit the college for placements. Most of the companies which visit the college are pharmaceutical companies like Sunfarma company and Oxygen company. They offer a very good package. The college provides a very good learning lab for technical performance. The companies visit the college and recruit the students who are capable of working with them.

Infrastructure: Saurashtra University is one of the big universities. The college has a big library, and there are mini-libraries available for each department. The college provides the Wi-Fi facility. There is a science finder website which can be operated in Saurashtra university only. There are many labs in which students can perform.

Faculty: The faculty members of Saurashtra university are very good. There are many teachers in my department, and PhD students are also very helpful. Not only the faculty members but also the department workers also help us in a very good way. The industry visits are conducted for every six months. The students complete the dissertation project in the final semester.

Other: I recommend this university to all. It has huge central area. The bus transportation facility is also provided to the students.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placement in 2017.

Placements: The placements are very good at our college. 70% of the students placed through college placement, and they offered salary interview wise 15000 to 30000 per month. The companies like Nirma, Meghmani, Sun pharma etc. came to our college. They offered roles to the students like plant operator, QC in lab etc.

Infrastructure: The university has a very good lab, and all instruments are awesome and latest. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The classrooms are also good, and the library is big with many useful books are available in the library for study and also for timepass. Good medical facilities. They organise SPL - Saurashtra premier league every year to promote cricket.

Faculty: The teachers and all staff are good at our college. All the teachers have good knowledge and experience. They give us an easy idea for learning. There is a good atmosphere for learning and overall development for the student. Everything in the college is good. I just love the college and recommend to all my friends.

Good infrastructure of the department. 50% satisfied with faculty. Good laboratory.

Placements: Many multinational and national companies come to our department to recruit new freshers. For example, companies like Reliance, Oxygen, Alembic, Piramal Healthcare etc. They provide us with a package of 1 LPA to 2 LPA. The companies like Reliance provide accommodation to initiate fresher's strength and potential.

Infrastructure: Saurashtra University is covered with the LED lights. The university has a total of four hostels in which two for masters students and 2 for research students. Chemistry departments have six labs in which 4 for master students and 2 for the research students. A good multi-purpose laboratory is present. But there are problems regarding gyroscope, glassware and some instruments.

Faculty: My department has good faculty members. All branches (analytical chemistry, organic chemistry and inorganic chemistry) have their specific lab with laboratory assistant. All the faculty members are regular, but their lectures are irregular.

t had good placement in last 3 years and a good faculty, but they can give less time to students.

Placements: Our department is generally concerned with the pharmaceutical industry. Many pharmaceutical companies like the Piramal Healthcare, Oxygen, etc., come to recruit the freshers. My Seniors also got a job in the campus interviews. Many of my friends are in the Reliance Industries. The industry generally offers the package of about Rs. 1 lakhs to 2 lakhs per annum.

Infrastructure: My department and the university have all the types of basic facilities and the scientific laboratory with high-cost equipment. The department also has a Wi-Fi facility. My classroom also has a projector installed. Also, the LED lights cover the entire university. The department also has the NFDD centre for the higher research and analysis of the substance.

Faculty: My Department has a good faculty. But Generally, they are very busy, So they are less available for us. The faculty are also familiar with us. The faculty almost completes our syllabus. They also arrange National level Science conference and symposium for the students. The faculty to student ratio in my department is also 1 per 25 students. The syllabus is updated in two or three years, in general, which is very important for the students.

How many seats are available saurastra university for M.sc chemistry? There are around 60 seats available.

Students must score at least 50% - 60% in graduation from a recognized university to be eligible to apply for the MSc Chemistry course. MSc in Chemistry is a 2-year postgraduation course. BHU
