The admission process is based on merit, assessed on the basis of candidates' achieved scores in their Class 12 and graduation. Additionally, for the selection process, the university gives 40% weightage to Class 12 marks and 60% weightage to Graduation marks (aggregate marks to the pre-final year).

Mohamed Sathak A.J. College of Nursing selects candidates for admission to MSc programme based on the merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam. Candidates must pass graduation to apply for admission at MSc. Aspirants who are selected have to report at the campus for document verification and fee payment.

Candidates who have passed BSc Nursing degree of the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University with at least 55% aggregate or any other university accepted as equivalent thereto are eligible to apply for MSc course at Mohamed Sathak A.J. College of Nursing.
