The eligibility criteria for Amrita School of Engineering Bengaluru M.Tech CSE is to secure a minimum 60% or CGPA 6.0 in B.E. / B.Tech. / M.Sc. in Engineering or Sciences discipline. The degree should be of relevance to the opted M.Tech. programme. Further, candidates will be admitted based on the GATE score and Non-GATE qualified students will be admitted based on academic records and performance in interview. Candidates with a valid eligibility criteria & performance in the interview will be admitted to the first year of the two-year M.Tech programmes.

To be eligible for the M.Tech programme at SRM University, students must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the university. You need to have at least 55% marks in your bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and pass relevant entrance tests with excellent marks.
This is a general eligibility requirement and may vary from college to college. For example the IITs need at least 60% marks in your bachelor's degree to be eligible for admission to the M.Tech EE course.

To study the M Tech in Mechanical Engineering course, you must have at least 55% marks in BTech Mechanical Engineering or a related field and clear relevant entrance tests like GATE, Andhra Pradesh PGECET, CEETA PG, etc. to grab a seat at a decent college in India.
