Average college. Recommended to join but not the best.

Placements: In our college most of the placements in Visakhapatnam happen. The number of students getting placement is high. Many companies like Infosys, TCS, and Cognizant are coming for hiring from this year, they are providing placements for 3rd years also which is very adorable.

Infrastructure: The facilities they provide are 24/7 Wi-Fi, classrooms, and labs with AC. The library is quite decent with many books by different authors. The labs with AC are available. The rooms are quite decent too, they even provide us with computers for coding, and Wi-Fi facility is available.

Faculty: Faculty is good. Most of them are doctoral and assistant professors. Most of them teach very well and make sure students understand the concept. They focus on continuous improvement, always keep engaging students with different activities, and always make sure to learn new things.

Overall, it was a good choice.

Placements: I am from Mechanical Engineering. 50% of people are placed in core branches through campus drives. The highest package in the core branch is 10LPA, the lowest package is 2.4 LPA, and the average package in the core branch is 4LPA. Companies like Tata, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and L&T hire students. 40% of students got internships in Tata Electronics, NSK Bearings, and Lucas TVS.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good. There are a few experienced faculty members and a few beginners, but overall, it is good. The hostel facilities are good, and the canteen food is also good with reasonable prices. Medical facilities are good, and sports facilities are awesome.

Faculty: Good teaching, friendly staff, and experienced faculty make the teaching quality good. They will teach you in the best way to ensure all the students understand. They teach the skills needed to get a good job in the industry. The semester exams' difficulty level varies from subject to subject. The pass percentage is also good, with a more than 80% pass rate.

Other: I chose this stream because I want to be a designer in the automotive field. They also conduct events, fests, and extracurricular activities that boost the confidence of the students.

This is about my college life.

Placements: Approximately 80 percent of students are placed. The first package is 42.5 LPA and the average package is 6.5 LPA to 7.5 LPA. The lowest package is 4 LPA. The recruiting companies are Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, and so on. Approximately 60 percent of students doing internships in different companies are Akriti and some other companies. The top roles are offered at Amazon with a 42.5 LPA package for supervisors in data management.

Infrastructure: We have so many labs and training office cells. There are well-furnished classrooms with digital boards and 24/7 Wi-Fi facilities and a weekly organised library with all sources along Wi-Fi. The hostels are there for girls and boys with wheel security with all control by cameras and the quality of food is so good. Medical rooms are also there and vehicles are there for any emergency purpose and weekly furnished beds and chairs for studying hours. Sports are the second priority for developing and all national and state meets occur.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good enough. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. The semesters are conducted in our college but they are done very well and very strictly, weekly, and orderly. The pass percentage is 85 percent.

Other: I chose this course because the future is AI. Everywhere artificial intelligence is working so this is why I chose this course. The best thing is that the future is IT. There are so many technical events occurring in our college and cultural events occur 4 to 5 times in college. The campus surroundings are very pleasant and nice for gathering and spending time.

Academic excellence and campus life in Raghu College.

Placements: In the ECE department, nearly 60 percent of students are placed in our college. The highest package offered in our course is 21 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 4–5 LPA. The top recruitment companies in Raghu are Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, etc. In Raghu College, nearly 70–80 percent of students get internships in the ECE department.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure in Raghu College are good. The labs in the ECE department are well maintained, and the classrooms and library are also well maintained. The equipment in the laboratories is the latest, giving students a wide range of experience and practical knowledge. They also have industrial visits. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is good, as my friends tell me. As a day scholar, I don’t have much experience in it. But the food available in the mess and canteen is great. They encourage sports.

Faculty: As I know, the faculty in Raghu Engineering College are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good and makes students industry ready. The semester exams in Raghu College are somewhat difficult, good preparation before exams is needed to get passing marks, and the exams are held very strictly.

Other: I choose this course because I am interested in it from my intermediate level. I wish the transport facilities improve. The events in Raghu College are held at least 3–4 times a month.

The real scenario in Raghu Engineering College.

Placements: In Raghu Engineering College nealry 50-60% of students are placed, and in our CSE department, the highest package is 44 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is around 5-6 LPA. The top recruitment companies in our department are Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, TCS, etc. Nearly 80% percent of students got internships from our course, and all are in the IT sector. The top roles offered in CSE are software engineer, full stack developed, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Raghu College is good enough, and the facilities of classrooms and labs are also okay, but the main problem is its transport facilities. There is only one bus stand near the college, and many days, day scholar students suffer while traveling. The food in the college premises is good enough at affordable prices, and the college encourages students to participate in sports and enhance their talents.

Faculty: The teachers in Raghu College are very knowledgeable and qualified. The majority of faculty completed their graduation, and M.Tech in IITs and NITs, and most of them have completed PhDs, and they help students very well during placements. All the semester exams in Raghu are quite simple, as per my knowledge. We can score well if we study a week before the sem exams, as it has a nearly 70% pass percentage.

Other: From my intermediate, I was interested in joining CSE, so that's why I chose this course. The best thing about this college is that I got many lifelong friends, and the faculty in the CSE department are supportive and encourage the students very well. The fests and events in Raghu College are held atleast a 3-4 times a month, and the worst thing about Raghu College is its strength. The number of students in college is high comparing with other colleges. It's better if they try to decrease the number of students and increase their facilities.

I faced many issues with transport. It would be better if they provide more traveling facilities with low cost. Placements: There is 60 percent of students who were placed in Raghu Engineering, and 52 LPA is the highest in Amazon, and the lowest is 4 LPA, and minimum average package is 6 LPA. Amazon, Google, Infosys, TCS, etc. There is 75 percent of students who got internship from Mechanical Engineering, and top roles are quality engineer, production analyst, and design engineer.

Infrastructure: The facilities are very good with pure drinking water and cleaned washrooms, along with AC, central library, and classrooms cleaned every day. Wi-Fi is available everywhere in the college for free, and lab equipment is there. The hostel is very clean, but the problem is high fees for hostel stay. Food is very tasty, and every day in the evening and morning sports and games are conducted.

Faculty: The teaching quality is very high, and their graduation is from top colleges, and some teachers are from IIT and NITs. The course curriculum is high but does not fully make students ready for industry. The pass percentage is about 75 percent, and the semester difficulty is not much.

Other: Due to EMACET, I had come to the college, and the Mechanical course is good too. Study and facilities should be increased in Mechanical.

Better placements are required.

Placements: According to me, the main companies that have come to my college are Infosys and Cognizant. Remaining companies are mostly startups, and as the IT industry is growing, many companies are coming forward to recruit students. This is affecting the college and students mostly, the college will lose its reputation, and the next batch of students will be fewer compared to the previous batch.

Infrastructure: I am a day-scholar, as my friends who were in a college hostel in the 1st year have shared their experience with me, saying that they have 2 outings monthly. Especially the girls should return to the hostel by 9:00 PM, as our college is located on the highway, it is not safe for anyone to roam around, as vehicles pass by day and night. The area is also not so good at night, it is peaceful, but you need to be careful. They provide non-vegetarian food weekly, thrice, and chicken on Sunday. Coming to the benefits, the hostel has so many events.

Faculty: There are two types of exams conducted in my college. Mid and semester Mid is conducted twice per semester, and semester is conducted once per semester. Mid is of 2 kinds. Mid 1 contains only 2 chapters. Mid 2 contains only 3 chapters. So, there are a total of 5 units for any subject. Combining all the units is conducted in the final semester.

Other: I chose Computer Science and Engineering specializations in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I thought that since AI is booming in the current IT industry, I would choose this course as it is the future. The placements and CRT should be more focused as AI is booming, many jobs are being replaced by humans, so the training should be focused.
