Admission to the Master of Technology course at Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore, is based on the eligibility criteria and academic records of the candidate. The criteria is that the candidate must have a bachelor's degree in relevant field of Engineering and Technology. Admission to the M.Tech course is based on the marks scored in GATE or MHTCET MTech exam.

 Admission to M.Tech is based on candidates’ scores obtained in the GATE exam.

The total fee of the two-year M.Tech programme is Rs 3 lakh.

The annual intake of the institute is 60 for M.Tech programme.

 In order to submit the NIT Calicut MTech application form successfully, candidates will have to pay the required fees. The application fee for OP/EWS/OBC/PwD categories candidates is INR 1,000. In addition, the SC/ST categories need to pay INR 500. Further, the application fee payment can be done through credit card/debit card/net banking.
