At the Cambridge Institute of Technology Bangalore, a very limited number of M.Tech seats are available. In total, the institute offers only 36 seats. Out of these 36, 18 seats are allocated to M.Tech in the CSE course, and 18 seats are allocated to MTehc in the VLSI Design and Embedded Systems course. It is important to note that the aforementioned seat intake is as per official sources. However, it is subject to change.

Cambridge Institute of Technology grants M.Tech admission to students with a valid GATE score. Thus, students aspiring to take admission can register and appear for the GATE exam. As per official sources, the GATE schedule for the 2026 session is out. As per the schedule, the exam is scheduled to be held from Feb 7, 2026 to Feb 8, 2026 and Feb 14, 2026 to Feb 15, 2026.

The Cambridge Institute of Technology Bangalore placement report for 2023 states that the highest international package bagged by students of batch 2023 stood at INR 30 LPA. Other than this, the data also suggests that over 200 recruiters participated in the placement drive held in 2023. Other than this, the the highest domestic and average package offered was INR 27 LPA and INR 7.20 LPA, respectively.

Admission to Cambridge Institute of Technology M.Tech is only possible when students fuflill the minimum eligibility criteria. As per the official website, to be eligible, students must have completed a UG degree with at least 50% marks (45% marks in the case of candidates who are from Karantaka and belong to the SC/ST category) in any discipline from a recognised university.
