To have M.Tech admission to the courses offered at Alagappa College of Technology, candidates need to visit the official website of respective conducting bodies of national-level entrance exams and fill the application form in online mode. GATE and CEETA score conducted by Anna University is required for admission.

The fee structure for the M.Tech programme at NIELIT Calicut is INR 2,68,500.

To be eligible for Bhagwant University's M.Tech programme, candidates need to pass BTech degree in relevant discipline from a recognised institute/ university, or MSc/ MCA degree from a recognised institute/ university with a minimum of 55 per cent aggregate.

The minimum eligibilty criteria for the MTech programme includes bachelor’s degree in relevant stream from a recognised university with minimum 50 % aggregate (45 per cent aggregate for SC/ ST candidates) at Guru Nanak Institutions Hyderabad. The MTech selection process includes a valid score in GATE/ TS PGECET exams followed by a Personal Interview.

MTech admission is based on the GATE score obtained by a candidate. In case of vacant seats, seats are filled based on aggregate obtained by interested applicants in graduation. 

Candidates are selected for admission to the M.Tech programme in Structure Design on the basis of their GATE score.

Candidates seeking admission shall apply for GATE through the COAPS portal and take the entrance exam. Candidates with a Bachelor’s or an equivalent degree in an appropriate branch of Engineering of a minimum four-year duration with 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ST/PwD) can apply. The students shortlisted based on GATE score are further required to appear for CCMT counselling following which the seat allotment is carried out.

The school offers an M.Tech programme of two-year duration in more than 25 specialisations.
