As per the latest report, the highest package offered to M.Tech students so far during Jain University placements 2023 stood at INR 9 LPA. Earlier, the highest package during Jain University M.Tech placements 2022 was INR 26 LPA. Going back to 2020 placements, the highest package stood at INR 32 LPA. Admission to M.Tech course is based on SEE score. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted candidates are called for counselling and document verification. MTech is a two-year course offered at the PG level. M.Tech is available in 11 specialisations, namely Computer Science, Construction Technology & Management, Production Technology, Structural Engineering, Thermal Engineering and VLSI & Embedded Systems, etc. Aspirants who have completed bachelor's deree in Engineering or equivalent degree with at least 50% aggregate in Class 12 can apply for the M.Tech course.

M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering at Desh Bhagat University, Punjab is a 2- year course which offers its students the combined study of mechanics, kinematics, etc. The university provides all kinds of laboratory and workshop facilities such as TOM Lab, SOM Lab, CAD Lab, Automobile Lab, Thermodynamics Lab, Fluid Mechanics Lab, RAC Lab and Workshop Practice. Besides this, better placement opportunities and Internship/ Industrial Training also attracts students for admissions at DBU, Punjab. Candidates who have done B.Tech./ BE with at least 50% marks or above from a recognised board/ university are eligible for admissions.

The admissions in College of Engineering Roorkee are done through counseling and seat allotment procedure of all the GATE qualified applicants. The applicants who have not qualified GATE will have to appear for the College entrance Test/Counselling. Apart from the Gate criteria, the Candidates who have qualified UKSEE examination on merit basis and have passed B.Sc. examination with Mathematics as one of the subject and securing minimum 60% marks in Diploma in Engineering or Equivalent Examination, only are eligible for direct admission in second year. 

Spread over four semesters, admission to the full-time M.Tech programme is subject to a valid score in GATE/ GPAT/ GAT-B exams. For some ME/ MTech/ M.Chem.Engg. specialisations, an institute-level written test and interview is conducted along with due consideration to the exam scores for final selection. On the basis of the past academics of the students and their scores in the relevant entrance exams, a merit list is released with the names of the shortlisted students.

To be eligible for M.Tech at ICT Mumbai, candidates must have passed a relevant UG degree with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA (55% aggregate or equivalent CGPA for the backward class candidates). Candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 750 at the time of registration.

MTech admissions are based on GATE exam. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the GATE scores.
