As of February 2025, there is no entrance test for VIT Vellore's Integrated M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) program; instead, admission is determined on a candidate's performance on their 10+2 exams. Candidates must have scored at least 65% on their 12th grade exams.

The conventional B.Tech courses do take entrance exam rankings into account for admission, but the five-year Integrated M.Tech programme is different. Consequently your eligibility for the Integrated M.Tech programme may not be immediately impacted by a VIT entrance exam score of 4700.

KBN University is not 100% placement-oriented for M.Tech Geoinformatics students since placement varies based on the course, individual performance, and demand in the market.
