For several B.Tech students planning to pursue higher education, it is primarily a choice between master of business administration (MBA) and master of technology (M.Tech) programmes. While both qualifications offer good placements and a stable career, the decision should be a well-calculated one. While an MBA prepares you for generalist roles and opens your avenues in non-technical industries, an M.Tech qualification offers you plush jobs and a freedom to take your love for technology to the next level. While both these career options are stable and rewarding, current trends indicate that students prefer MBA over M.Tech. Besides openi

MBA and M.Tech, both will offer you what you are looking for (good job with good pay). However, the choice should be based upon your interest rather than the money earned because five-six years down the line, you will be earning enough, but your job should be motivating enough to get you to work everyday. So, take a decision based upon your area of interest. M.Tech will provide an opportunity to expand your knowledge further in the field that you are currently in. You get a chance to explore and dig deeper into concepts that intrigued you in your graduation. Your technical skills are enhanced and you can become a subject matter expert

It's only my view and I am talking in current job scenarios. Unless, you do M.Tech or MBA from top universities. It doesn't matter what you do. If you are not interested in teaching field, there is no point doing M.Tech. It reduces your job chances by 70 percent. Very few companies offer jobs for candidates with M.Tech degree. If you don't get admitted in a top university, your best option is to go for a relevant job and do Masters (M.Tech or MBA) after a year or so based on the field, you are experienced in. It will be a great boost for your career.
Good luck!

This is really a confused minds question. Generally, it happens when we study in B.Tech. Most of aspirants just pursue engineering like a B.A. Degree these days. First they complete engineering and start looking for option to secure a decent job. But my friend B.Tech itself is a complete degree which can provide you any opportunity. Lets think over your query, M.Tech or MBA, both are completely opposite. One takes you to specialised domain in your Technical subjects you studied in B.Tech and other onc can move you to completely different field which requires fresh understanding and knowledge over several business related stuff.
