PES University MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
PES University offers a two-year PG degree course of MTech across four specialisations. Apart from this, the University also has a five-semester Executive MTech course that is available in a single specialisation. To get admission in either of the mentioned courses, students need to qualify for the university’s in-house entrance exam i.e., PESSAT or PGCET/GATE with good scores. To get admission to PES University, MTech aspirants must have graduated in the respective subjects. PES University MTech Admission Process 2025: How to Apply?
The application form for PES University can be filled in online mode only. You can follow the steps below to get in the university:
1. Visit the PESSAT website at www.pessat.com and click on the ‘Admission’ tab
2. Choose the course in which you wish to seek admission
3. Fill in details like your name, date of birth, mobile number and email ID and hit the 'Submit' button.
4. Pay INR 1,050 as an application fee. Once the fee payment is done, enter the transaction number and tap 'Proceed to Fill Application' link to complete the application process
5. Proceed with application form and upload the scanned images of your recent passport-size photograph, thumb impression and other necessary enclosures in JPG/ JPEG format
6. Verify all your filled details and hit 'Submit' to conclude the application process

PES University MTech Placements 2024
The 2024 placement data has not been disclosed. Earlier, as per the official website, more than 30% of students received an average salary above INR 15 LPA during the 2023 drive. The complete placement report is yet to be released. Alongside this, according to media reports, the PES University average package and highest package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 17.99 LPA and INR 65 LPA, respectively.
The official placement statistics have not been released yet. However, the NIRF report 2024 has been released for Engineering and Management departments. As per the report, 1,199 BTech, 93 MTech, and 284 MBA students were placed during 2023 placements. The median package offered to BTech and MTech students was INR 8 LPA and INR 4.90 LPA, respectively. Further, the median package offered to MBA students during PES University placements in 2023 was INR 5.60 LPA.
As per the data fetched from multiple media reports, the PES University highest package offered during 2023 placements was INR 65 LPA and the average package stood at INR 17.99 LPA. The University offers several scholarships to its meritorious students. The students are screened on various parameters and offered fee waiver scholarships at the end of every academic year.
- MRD scholarships: If a student is among the top 20% in their section in terms of CGPA for a particular academic year, then the student will get a tuition fee waiver of 40% for the next academic year of study
- Distinction awards: If a student secures a CGPA of 7.5 or above for a particular year, then the student would receive a cash prize as a distinction award
