Hi, Go for B.Tech in biotechnology. The three-year B.Sc. Course is conducted as any other science subject and the students can go for the M.Sc. Course and take up research later. The B.Tech course is the better option. Selection will be on the basis of the engineering entrance examination and marks obtained in plus two or equivalent examinations in Science subjects. Students who pass the qualifying examination with at least 50 percent marks in mathematics and as much in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biotechnology, computer Science or biology taken together are eligible to take the entrance examination.

Hi Yatisha,
It is good to know that you are going for E-PGDM after obtaining M.Tech degree. Now, your 'long Experience in teaching' will help you or not will depends on what career opportunities you are seeking after your PGDM. For example, M.Tech + PGDM in HR will opens the door HR Analytics, Senior Manager in HR at major Tech or IT companies like Adobe or Microsoft etc.

Yes, it's really worth doing M.Tech from VIT-Vellore as there are a lot of opportunities for M.Tech graduates and VIT has excellent placement records.

Actually, IOT is the new stream and not everyone are aware about it. It Is an emerging branch which might have good demand in the mere future. So, if you get a seat in VIT Vellore kindly pursue as you have great opportunities ahead.
