I guess, you are a bit confused in understanding the eligibility criteria with 10+2. It means, your class 12th or PUC grade, not your class 10th. So, better start focusing on your subject to get your dream college.

Dear Friend, Yes, you can obviously join for the course but before this please collect the below stated review from your seniors/faculty (as you are an alumni of the Himalayan University) -
1. Whether the course is available or not which you want.
2. The course fee is suitable in terms of ROI.
3. Placement analysis (take data from students & also from college).
4. Mode of training.
5. Whether the college provides any internship/live project. I think this will help you to judge further.

Hello,GATE is necessary for pursuing M.Tech, if you aspire to get admission in esteemed college. But, still few colleges offer their own entrance exam.
