Both Journalism and Event Management are good good options. But if you are more interested towards writing and reporting then you should opt for journalism.
In Event Management you will learn from the basics of organizing events, to managing production work and other aspects, so think towards which filed you are inclined more and then select a course.

Hi Suitha,
Symbiosis is one of the most reputed institution in terms of celebrating its uniqueness in maintaining a course of MA in mass communication and MBA in communication as well. So, yes! Symbiosis definitely have a post-graduate course in mass communication.

Bcom is a generic degree in which you study about bst, taxes, management, finance, accountancy etc. So far in india, there is nothing like bcom in mass comm . You can either do bcom and then masters/ diploma in mass comm or directly go for bachelor's in journalism.
