Prior to filling the IIT JAM 2024 application form, aspirants must ensure that they fulfil the IIT JAM 2024 eligibility criteria.

  • In order to fulfil the IIT JAM 2024 eligibility criteria, candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree. 
  • Candidates who had appeared or will appear for their graduation exams in 2024 are also eligible to apply, provided they submit the proof by September 2024.

IIT JAM Round 4 was released on July 7 for IIT Ropar admission to the MSc courses. Considering the last round of JAM 2023, the opening and closing ranks were 230 and 445, respectively for MSc in Mathematics. IIT JAM Fourth Admission list was released on July 7 for MSc admission at IIT Kanpur. As per JAM Round 4 cutoff, the oepning and closing ranks were 39 ann 115, respectively for the General All India category stundents. Yes, the institute may admit candidates without a valid IIT JAM/CUET score directly. However, this is subject to the availability of seats. The preference is given by BIT Mesra to candidates with a good score. If they meet the requirements, a B.Tech. in Mechatronics student may take the IIT JAM in Physics for admission to the IIT for M.Sc. in Physics.
