Hi Himani,
In Canada, 4 years degree is acceptable so for this if you want to apply for Canada you will have to first do a Diploma there then you are eligible to do further studies. Good luck.

The UGC NET Exam is the National Eligibility test conducted every year in the month of June and Dec for the recruitment of lecturers in Colleges and Universities of India and for the Research work. The UGC NET-https://www.eduncle.com/cbse-ugc-net-exam Exam is one of the best career options for those are from the Commerce, arts and humanities fields. If you have completed post-graduation with at least 55% marks, you can apply for the exam. There is no age limit to appear in the National Eligibility test. According to the UGC, all the degrees are equal value and for the government services. It is not a problem. Most of the public sector companies are not accepting the distance education and all are asking for a full-time degree with a minimum of 60% of marks.
So, my personal experience is, distance education degrees will not have a good worth. But in the case of serving employees in the government sector/private sector for promotion prospectus, it is useful to do distance education degrees. If a person wants to start a career with distance education degrees, it is somewhat difficult.

Yes, you can get admission in Masters in hotel management. The eligibility criteria for MHM from IIHM, Kolkata is graduation in any stream. The complete admission process is as under:
1. Collect application kit and prospectus.
2. Duly completed application form should be submitted to the admission office along with the attested copies of the following documents:
a) Copies of educational certificates.
b) Age proof.
c) Character certificate.
d) Three copies of recent passport size photographs.
