Yes, you can pursue PG in Sociology softer completing graduation in Physics. Because to apply for PG, you just need to qualify the graduation. As you ask, are you eligible for UGC NET so you can appear for the UGC NET exam in your qualifying year of post graduation or after qualify it. You have to be score at least 55% aggregate marks in Masters to be eligible for the NET exam. Hi,
If you have taken banking and insurance in your UG, then better option would be you choose in your Masters MBA as specialization in the same domain banking and insurance, or you can choose banking and finance as your specialization in MBA, because you'll get the best career mode of either choosing to enter in banking sector or insurance or finance field.

You can apply for UGC NET, if you have scored more than 55% marks in the final exams. There are 5% reservation for the reserved category candidates. The candidates need to fulfill the age limit criteria if applying for the NET JRF. There is no age limit for the lectureship. If you have score the required percentage, then you can apply for the exam. All the best.
