It's nice to see your zest for studies and acquiring knowledge. Just don't worry. Your degree of graduation even if obtained from distance mode is definitely valid for admission to regular course in PG.

This will depend on where you want to settle eventually. Currently, if you have a very good profile you should try for IITs or top universities such as MIT, Caltech, etc. for a global recognition.

Getting student visa with backlogs is usually difficult. The visa officer may reject your application based on the number of backlogs. If possible, try to clear them before filling in the visa application.
