Eligibility criteria for M.Sc. Statistics in university of Hyderabad
Bachelor degree with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects with an aggregate of 60 percent. Or
BA/B.Sc (Hons) in Maths/ Statistics with an aggregate of 55 percent.

To inform you that you are not eligible for DU JAT if you have applied Maths in class 12th. To be eligible for DU JAT, you need Mathematics in class 11th and 12th. The aggregate of 60% or more marks in the qualifying examination in four subjects: English Mathematics, and any two other subjects included in List B.

The JHC is following University of Mumbai guidelines for admission and the eligibility criteria of B.Com of University of Mumbai is given below. Eligibility : A candidate eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Commerce Degree Course shall have passed XII standard. Examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent and secured not less than 35% marks in aggregate at one & the same sitting. So Mathematics is not necessary here for getting admission in B.Com.

Hello Taniya Shah, I am afraid you seems to be ineligible at least presently to seek admission in engineering colleges. This is so since, mathematics is considered as compulsory irrespective of branch. There is a choice for Chemistry. Student could take Biology instead.
