There is no restriction about the distance degree for appearing in IIT JAM exam for M.Sc. Mathematics. So you can be eligible if meeting the below criteria. Educational qualification for M.Sc. Mathematics :
1. All candidates admitted through JAM should have a Bachelors degree.
2. In the qualifying degree, the aggregate marks or CGPA/CPI without rounding-off (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) should be at least 55% or 5.5 out of 10 for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS category candidates, and 50% or 5.0 out of 10 for SC/ST and PwD category candidates.

Hello Abhilash, it's very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing a career on mathematics. This is the subject that you will find very interesting if you like it and very tough if you do not like it. Plenty of students across India need good teachers of mathematics who can make it interesting while teaching. You can download the brochure of the institute where you intend to pursue your purse graduation in mathematics and will come to know about the eligibility for the same. The eligibility criteria of M.Sc. Mathematics of IDOL Mumbai University is given below.
Eligibility criteria : Must have Passed T.Y. B.A./ B.Sc. with Mathematics as a Major Subject of this University OR Any Other Statutory University.
So B.E passed students are not eligible for this course.

The eligibility criteria of M.Sc. Mathematics of JAM 2020 is given below. Eligibility criteria : A Bachelors degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks or 5.5 CGPA/CPI out of 10 if they belong to general/OBC (NCL)/EWS category. For SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates, the eligibility criteria for the exam is such that they should have secured 50% aggregate marks or 5.0 CGPA/CPI out of 10. Aspirants who have given their graduation exam or are set to appear for their final year exams in 2021 also meet IIT JAM eligibility criteria. Yes, you are eligible for CDS but you can only opt for IMA or OTA if you get recommended cause for INA and IAF you need Science and mathematics.

Hi bikram. The appearing candidate should have cleared Senior Secondary School Examination of CBSE or any other class 12 equivalent examination from any board/recognised institute, university. Candidates belonging to general category should have secured a minimum of 60% in class 12.
1- Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India
2- Academic Qualification:
Every candidate, in order to apply for the DU JAT 2020 exam must have qualified/cleared Class 12 examination of any board/university exam in India or in any foreign country exam recognised as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)
