Hi Yash, Admission process varies from college to college. Most of the colleges accept CAT score for admission process. Eligibility criteria for CAT 2018:
The candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC, ST and PWD/DA category). Percentage obtained in Bachelor's degree would be calculated on the basis of practice followed by the concerned university/institution. In case of grades/CGPA, the conversion would be based on the process defined by the concerned university/ institution. An overall evaluation is done for selecting candidates at IMI Kolkata. However, with 75 plus percentile in CAT and decent scores in undergrad, you have fair chances of converting. IMI Kolkata has had an excellent track record of hundred percent throughout the years. Eminent faculty members from all over the world come to teach the students at IMI Kolkata. It has world class and ultramodern infrastructure. Students from different backgrounds from all parts of the country come to study in this college. Hostel facility is also present. Many live projects also take place which gives students a new perspective on the corporate world.

For doing MBA / PGDM, first you need to crack management exams like CAT /CMAT/ MAT/ XAT/ SNAP. Have a good percentile, because for getting into any management institute score cards of any such exam is required. Then only you will be eligible for Amity University, you might have other options too to look for like colleges of Symbiosis, NMIMS, NIBM, NIA, MICA, IMT, IMI, MDI, IITs, IIMS and several such colleges.

With this score, you can hardly get admission in any good college. It is better if you give a shot to good individual/state level entrance exams which are being conducted every year by various institutes/states for students who don't meet national tests score criteria. You can appear for TANCET MBA test conducted by Anna University, UPESMET test conducted by UPES University, KMAT etc. Last dates to apply for these exams are very close like last date to apply for UPESMET is 5th March, 2016 while for TANCET its March end. So, apply for these as soon as possible and start your preparation.

You will get a better package if you do MBA after work experience of 2 years & B.Tech in ECE. At present, more than thousands of student are appearing in different management entrance exams like CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT after 2 years of work experience. It will help in your interview at the time of placement.
