Yes candidates can absolutely do so. However, route is significantly longer. They must take NEET UG after passing BHMS and then complete their MBBS before taking NEET-PG. They can pursue a Dermatology career after clearing NEET PG with a high score.

Dermatology course is a branch of Medicine that deals with disorders of skin, scalp, hair, and nails. Many people suffer from skin, scalp, and hair-related diseases and disorders in an age where pollution levels are rising by day. A Dermatology specialist who specialised in skin can swiftly identify reasons for rashes, acne, oedema, redness, or pigmentation.

No, you cannot become a qualified doctor (dermatologist) who analyses and treats diseases without an MBBS degree.

But you can work in skin care by studying alternative and non-doctor courses like BSc in Skin Care Technology, Dermatology Nursing or Cosmetology which lead to support roles in clinics.

Hope this helped your query! All the best!

No an optometrist is not an MBBS doctor or even graduate. Optometrists are professionals who have expertise in eye care services which includes eye exam, vision correction and even diagnosis and management of certain eye conditions.
