I am very satisfied with the campus and facilities.
Placements: About 70% of students get placed in my course. The highest package is 10 LPA and the average package is 7.5 LPA. The lowest package is 4 LPA. Many students also got internships in hospitals and clinics as per their practicing sessions.
Infrastructure: The campus is surrounded by greenery everywhere which gives fresh air and proper ventilation in classrooms. It has a vast collection of books in the well-stocked library. The quality of food is acceptable. Multiple sports and medical facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers are very skilled and experienced. The teaching quality is very good. They are not very helpful. The course curriculum is not relevant because not much happens apart from studies and lectures. Semester exams are quite difficult because of few resources.

MS in Orthopaedics at M.M.C. Chennai.
Placements: We are trained professionals with higher chances of getting placed in various private and public sectors. The pay range for students of MS Orthopaedics is between 8 LPA and up to 55 LPA. Medico Placements and Nagarjuna Consultancy are some of the hiring partners.
Infrastructure: It is mandatory to wear coats and uniforms on campus days. Even during training, it is necessary to wear white coats and carry stethoscopes. To provide proper training on live cases, 1,300 beds are available to offer hands-on experience with real-time cases.
Faculty: Even though it is easier to understand the practical classes, there is complexity in clearing examinations due to the extensive syllabus. So, we are required to study each day's class on the same day to avoid unnecessary confusion before the examinations.

MD in Pharmacology - Batch of 2025

I'm dissatisfied because of faculty member's behavior.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed from our course is 68%. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the average package is 6.5 LPA. The lowest package is 4 LPA. Many students got training and internships in several fields and the top roles offered are senior pharmacist.
Infrastructure: Overall, facilities available for our department are very nice. Classrooms and labs are well-managed and modified with all the requirements. Hostel rooms are comfortable and clean. The quality of food available in mess and canteen is hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and well-qualified. The teaching quality is very good. However, faculty members have quite rude behavior towards students from other states.
Other: Extracurricular activities are conducted at the starting of the semester.

Review of Madras Medical College, Chennai.
Placements: MD in pharmacology have the highest chances of getting placed in research and development sectors of pharmaceutical companies. Even companies like Sun Pharmaceuticals and Cipla are actively involved in the hiring process. The junior president can get between Rs 80,000 to Rs 1.2 LPA and the senior president get above it.
Infrastructure: Hospital is available for giving training to the students by the experienced faculty members in live cases. Laboratories are available for doing experiments oriented to pharmacology and clinical pharmacology. Laboratories are also developed here. There is a versatile canteen area and providing food for everyone came over there.
Faculty: It is a specialized and scopeful course that inspired me for a long while doing my bachelors degree in medicine. It usually deals with the study of drugs and their effects on living organisms. All the professional trainers came here to train the students to be skillful graduates.

The college has very friendly faculty and great infrastructure.
Placements: Madras Medical College provides various placement opportunities in all courses. Last year, the highest package was 13.5 LPA, and the average package was 5.5 LPA. The college placement cell is very supportive, and it really helps students secure internships in clinical trials and patient care. The placement selection rate is around 70-80% in our college.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is really nice. We have a dedicated practical lab for each subject, and the labs encourage group work. The college library has a huge collection of books that contain in-depth pharmacological studies, and other course books are also available. The hostel is clean and provides all the basic facilities, such as hygienic food, AC rooms, study tables, and Wi-Fi. Single rooms are available for boys, and double rooms are available for girls in the hostel.
Faculty: The faculty is supportive, and most of the faculty members hold MD or Ph.D. degrees. Their teaching style is also good; they teach us through discussions, case studies, and practical demonstrations, which make learning engaging and effective. The exams are easy, often including MCQs, short questions, and brief questions. The faculty provides us with assignments and notes for exam preparation, which is enough to score good marks.

COP and M.M.C. bring back memories.
Placements: There is no on-campus placement provided. The average package for the course is 4 LPA. It depends on the domain we choose. Internships are provided based on students' interests with their projects. Industrial visits are arranged based on students' interest in testing laboratories. Top role offers include Bioinformatics, CDM, etc.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is good. It maintains well-equipped instruments like IR, UV, and HPLC at a high standard of maintenance. Sports are conducted every year. As it is a medical college and hospital, medical facilities are available.
Faculty: Faculty members are very kind and helpful towards the growth of students and their welfare. The difficulty of exams was above average. However, it all depends on how one pursues and gains knowledge in their domain. On average, it is quite challenging to pass exams.
