MBBS means Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.

The course usually takes 5.5 years in India:

• 4.5 years of study: Students learn subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, and Clinical Medicine.

• 1-year internship: After studying, students do a rotating internship to get real, hands-on experience in hospitals.

It can be difficult for an out-of-state applicant to gain admission to MBBS colleges in Hyderabad or Secunderabad because local or state-domiciled candidates are given preference. The basic eligibility criteria for MBBS admission in AIIMS Jodhpur is passing Class 12 or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognised board. Hence, you are certainly eligible to apply for the MBBS programme offered at AIIMS Jodhpur even if you have scored 60% in Class 12 boards.

However, selection to the course is done on entrance-basis. The institute accepts valid score obtained in NEET exam. In order to get admission at AIIMS Jodhpur, students need to clear the cut-off released by the institute.

BAMS and MBBS are two different Medical degrees that students can pursue after completing Class 12. BAMS full form in medical is Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery, while MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. However, some information is available on other education portals:the MBBS course fees at HNBUMU start from INR 60,000 to over INR 100,000 per month. The website also mentions that recruiting hospitals for MBBS graduates include local private and government hospitals in Dehradun.
