The eligibility criteria for MBBS in India is a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) at the 10+2 level. This is applicable for all categories, including General, OBC, SC, and ST.
However, there are a few government colleges that offer MBBS courses with a lower cutoff of 40% marks in PCB for SC/ST candidates.
If you have scored 50% marks in PCB in boards, you are eligible to apply for MBBS in government and private medical colleges in India. However, it is important to note that the competition for MBBS seats is very high and you may not get admission to a top medical college with a 50% score.

Your chances of getting an MBBS seat with an All India Rank of 85149 and a Category Rank of 11615 are low. However, there are still a few options available to you.

Unfortunately, it is highly unlikely that you will be able to get admission for MBBS in any government college with 120 marks in NEET and belonging to the BC-E category. The cutoff marks for MBBS in government colleges are usually much higher than 120 marks.
For example, the cutoff marks for MBBS in government colleges in Maharashtra for the 2022-23 academic year were as follows:
| Category | Cut-Off Marks |
|---|---|
| General | 550 |
| OBC | 525 |
| SC/ST | 500 |
As you can see, the cutoff marks for MBBS in government colleges are much higher for general category students than for OBC and SC/ST students. However, even if you belong to a reserved category, it is still unlikely that you will be able to get a seat wit

If you don't clear NEET, you can still get admission for MBBS through other ways. Here are a few options:
- Take a gap year and prepare for NEET again. This is the most common option for students who don't clear NEET. By taking a gap year, you can give yourself more time to study and improve your score.
- Apply to a private medical college. Private medical colleges do not require NEET scores for admission. However, the fees for private medical colleges are usually much higher than the fees for government medical colleges.
