The most important factor here is the quality of education. If you are getting good education after paying hefty fees in private college and if it is affordable for you, then you should take it up in India else you can consider going abroad.
The Indian government is very soon about to implement exit exam (NEXT) for Indian doctors before they start practice in India or go for PG. So doctors with poor knowledge will struggle to pass as quality of education is not up to mark at every college in India.
Even abroad you should choose reputed colleges with good experience in teaching foreign students. That will help you in clearing MCI screening exam and even other licensure exams across the world.
Ensure you fill MCI form and submit at MCI office before leaving the country, if you choose to study abroad.
