Dear aspirant, All the candidates applying for the MCA course at Gujarat University must sit for the Gujarat University Entrance Examination. The students will be selected based on the score of the entrance examination and through the counseling process of the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). Hope it helps.

Hi, I am Satish and I completed my MCA in 2008 from the Andhra University campus. I suggest taking up a full-time course in MCA rather than part-time if you have time and if you are not working because that way you can gain a lot of knowledge and plenty of time to interact with like-minded people. Also, opportunities are also higher for full-time candidates. But still, if you are working and cannot manage to attend college full-time then go part-time and you can still gain the same amount of knowledge.

The cut-off rule is very easy.

Mathematics is very essential subject if you wish to enter in the field of MCA because Along with programming you will have to study Statistics and complex geometry while pursuing MCA. While even to take admission in MCA you will have to compulsory Mathematics subject at 10+2 level or At Graduation level. Otherwise you will be not eligible for the course. Some colleges require Entrance test to take admission in MCA. Any Graduate with minimum 50% aggregate marks can pursue MCA. I hope now you are clear about your problem.

VIT University offers a full-time MCA via its School of Information Technology & Engineering (SITE). The duration of the programme is two years. The Deemed University, every year, conducts the Vellore Institute of Technology Masters Entrance Examination VITMEE to offer admission to the MCA programme. Placements are About 95% of the students get placed in well-known companies every year in MCA.
