This programme is offered with a wide array of specialisations, including Dermatology, General Medicine, and more. The duration of all the MD courses is three years. Once the NEET PG counselling process is over, students who get a GIMSR MS seat must report to the institute for verification of documents. Listed below are all the documents required to be presented at the time of reporting:

No, you cannot practice Medicine with just a PhD if you do not hold an MD. A PhD in Medicine or related fields focuses on research and academic expertise, not clinical practice. To legally practice Medicine, you need to obtain an MD (Doctor of Medicine) or an equivalent medical degree, which includes clinical training and the required licensing exams.

No, not at all, candidates can get admission to Rangaraya Medical College with 20k rank. As per the Rangaraya Medical College cutoff 2024, the cutoff for MD in General Medicine in itself in pretty low. The cutoff for the General AI category candidates stood at 2275.

The Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research (MIMER) in Talegaon, Pune accepts the NEET PG and Maharashtra NEET PG exams for admission to the MD program. Candidates are selected based on their ranks or marks in these exams.
