Hello! Nilesh Giri, admissions to diploma courses offered by different polytechnics including the Government polytechnic at Thane are conducted by the directorate of technical education of the state of Maharashtra in a centralised fashion. All the students who have passed 10th and who are meeting the criteria for admission have been ask to register themselves on its website by giving revealed information so that the admissions can be processed sent only by way of counselling. There is no mention what so ever about any cut-off announced by the government polytechnic at Thane. So be rest assured that for admissions in this Institute that is no need to worry about obtaining certain minimum marks to be eligible to even apply. Anyone who meets the minimum criteria can apply for admission in this polytechnic by registering on the website as mention about.

Hello Anthara Nanaware, I can appreciate your angst and anxiety. COEP ranks in the top five engineering colleges in the state of Maharashtra. However, there is no mention of any cutoff for admission to this college. Please try to understand. Admissions are not processed by the college. This job is done by the CET cell of govt of Maharashtra after the declaration of results of MHTCET. Students are to register with them and give preference for admission. All colleges across Maharashtra are included in this process. Hence there is no scope for any college to announce a cutoff. What is announced by colleges after the admission process is over are the opening and closing ranks of students who got admission. Obviously for this college, one must be perhaps in the top five percentile for having a reasonable chance of getting admission.

Hello Rutik, from all the available information, it is clear that this institution does not prescribe any cutoff for any of the courses it offers to students. This may be due to many different things.
