Yes this is a good decision to pursuing B.Tech Mechanical through lateral entry after the Diploma Mechanical. This decision will open good placements/ jobs opportunities and promotions.

Yes, opting Marine engineering after Diploma Mechanical is a good option. IMUCT is an entrance exam conducted by Indian Maritime University for B.Tech Marine Engineering. Three years Diploma holders are eligible for admission in second year through lateral entry. The eligibility criteria of IMUCET for B.Tech Marine Engineering (Lateral) is given below. You can get admission in PU without JEE Mains marks as well as without any university level entrance test. You just have to go on their official website and click on the apply now button then they will call you within 24 hours an then will contact for counselling directly on the basis of 12th board marks. They are giving me CSE branch with specialisation in cloud computing with 74% in 12th.
70% Seats will be filled by REAP on JEE (Mains) score merit basis and 10+2 percentage based merit list.
15% Seats will be filled by REAP on JEE (Mains) score and 10+2 percentage for outside Rajasthan candidates only.
15% Seats will be filled by college

Greetings, Midun Varsan M. You aspire to become a pilot after graduating from engineering school. Right? According to a conservative estimate, the cost of training to obtain a CPL in South Africa is over $50,000. In addition, one must stay there for about 18 months. This expense is in addition to that. I believe you could have the same training here in India at a lot lower cost than you would pay abroad. Of course, the choice is yours to make.

Not bad. Technical education will always be beneficial with respect to other areas. However prefer to do some Fashion design related undergraduate courses of NIFT. This will give you the right career direction with decent placement opportunities.
