You can get B.Tech Mechanical Engineering through lateral entry with your rank of 5,773 in TS ECET and a mechanical branch rank of 563. The IITs and NIT are among the top engineering colleges in India, but they accept applicants only through JEE Advanced. For TS ECET Osmania University College of Engineering, Bhaskar Engineering college and Adulkalam Institute of Technology & Science are the colleges.

Yes, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology does offers M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. The course is a two-year full-time course offered across multiple sub-specialisations as follows:
- MTech in Mechanical Engineering (Industrial and Production Engineering
- MTech in Mechanical Engineering (Machine Design)
- MTech in Mechanical Engineering (Robotics and Automation)
- MTech in Mechanical Engineering (Thermal Engineering)
MTech admission is offered based on the candidate's performance in GATE. Further, candidates without the exam score are selected for the remaining vacancies through Departmental Test.

Taking Mtech at NIT Raipur is not worth it because there is no placement in Mtech specially in mechanical.last year I think 2/3 students were placed out of the batch.and also there is no facility for the hostel in the college you will have to stay outside the college .

The IUST Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is a three-year programme. The course duration is further divided into six semesters. In each semester, students are taught the theoretical and practical aspects of various core and elective subjects releated to the wide field of Mechanical Engineering. Each subject carries certain credits. Students are evaluted through Mid-term and End-term exams. Some subjects included in the course curriculum are Thermodynamics, Applied Mechanics, Material Science, Metrology & Quality, etc.

IUST BTech in Mechanical Engineering curriculum is spread over a period of four years. It follows a semester pattern, with eight semester in total. Yes. Other than the tuition fee for the BTech Mechanical Engg. course curriculum, colleges usually take additional charges for hostel accommodation, admission application, semester exam registration and practical lab work. So you must carefully go through the fee structure for the course at your desired colleges before finalizing the college.
