Hello Pavan, There are plenty of universities or Deemed to be universities which will give you admission for engineering courses based on your Diploma in mechanical engineering. But listing them out would take pages. The best course for you would be to seek admission on a lateral mode in any one of the colleges in your state through the admission procedure conducted by Directorate of technical education of your state. For Deemed to be universities you will hurt appear for the entrance exam and pass to get admission hence I would recommend that you take the course of your state which is a better road to follow. Hello Kausar, You have completed your B.Tech in mechanical engineering and now are inclined to take up MS Right? Well, you can definitely go for it. But, going for MS abroad in any country involves various nuances as the admission is not based exclusively on academic performance at the graduate level. In view of this, I would advise you to contact an agency which is dealing with sending students abroad for MS since such an agency will know all the nuances in the whole process and will help you in overcoming these.

M.Sc Wood Science & Technology is two years of duration programme at FRI, Dehradun with intake of 38 numbers. The eligibility criteria is as under.
Eligibility: - Three year Bachelor's degree with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or B.Sc Degree in Forestry with minimum 50% marks. Hence, you are not eligible for this programme.

This is good though of higher education but I think if you have good base in mechanical you should pursue Bachelor in mechanical engineering because Very large PSUs offer job in mechanical.
