Hi there,
BVPCOE-Pune is among the top private colleges of Maharashtra. It also secures under 60 rank in the lastest NIRF ranking.
Mechanical engineering of BVP is quite good as lot of top core companies came down for the placements.

Hi there,
Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering started in 1979, was founded by Sri R Dayananda Sagar and is run by the Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peeta Trust. It came in the list of top 10 private colleges in Bangalore due to which it is able to lure many companies and which resulted in good placements stats.
Here are some of the insights of the college:-
Intake:- 180 for mechanical.
Placements for mechanical:- Average package is Rs 3.5 lakhs and the highest is Rs 8 lakhs
Recruiters:- Accenture, Tech Mahindra, L & T, Unisys, IBM, Wipro, Bosch, MU Sigma, Shahi exports.

COEP is a premier institute while SPCE is not even known by that many people. Among the two COEP is the winner. COEP has been ranked one in Maharashtra after the IITs and NITs. According to MHRD rankings COEP is ranked 24th while SPCE is on not even in top 100.
Generally speaking COEP blows SPCE out of the water. COEP is much well-known and trusted among recruiters as compared to MIT. Last time COEP had around 83.8 % placements for mechanical (this number seems less as the students who didn't accept the offers are also included) and the average salary was around 6-7 LPA for mechanical department which is more compared to SPCE.

Mechanical engineering is best Branch of Engineering and offers many government jobs .
The placement at Harcourt Butler Technical University of Mechanical Engineering is good. The placement ratio is almost around 75 to 80% placement.
The average package offered is around 3 to 5 LPA.

Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering is among the top colleges in the Mumbai, but only in terms of infrastructure and academics and if you get your hopes high about the placements in the college, you are about get disappointed really bad.
The college provides for an average placement package of around 3.5 lacs and that too in IT corporate companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Accenture or actually mass recruiters which tells about the state of placement in the college.

LNM Institute, Jaipur is quite better than BML Munjal University if anyone have to choose between them because BML Munjal university est. in 2014 so no batch passed till date so it is quite risky to join this college but LNM Institute Jaipur is an deemed university est. in 2003.
