With 55770 rank in JEE Mains it is very difficult to get top NITs like NIT Trichy, Surathal or NIT Bhopal but you may expect to get NIT Patna, NIT Durgapur, NIT Mizoram, NIT Nagaland, NIT Goa, NIT Arunachal Pradesh for pursuing Mechanical Engineering. If you are from reserved category you may have chances for getting a good NITs as compared to others till the last round of Counseling process.

With an OBC-NCL rank of 2,05,084 in JEE Main, it's far very hard to get admission in B.E. Mechanical Engineering at MBM Engineering College.

You can attempt for private colleges or other branches with lower cutoff.

Also discover other states or local alternatives with direct admission.

With an EWS rank of 22,000 in JEE Mains, you have an excellent chance to get Mechanical Engineering at each DTU and NSUT, specially if you are from Delhi.

Last year, college students with even better EWS ranks got admission in later rounds. So, participate in all rounds of JAC Delhi counselling for higher chances.

Tuition fees to students majoring in B.Tech, Mechanical Engineering in India differ widely. Most of the tuition fees of 8-10 Lacs per year in government colleges (such as IITs or NITs) amounts to an overall price of 2-8 Lacs over 4 years. The overall expenses may be even higher in case of the private colleges with an average of INR 3 Lacs to INR 15 Lacs overall, with some of the best private colleges crossing this figure in total. Such figures do not usually include extra expenses such as hostel, mess, and studies fees which are usually significant in terms of annual expenditure.
