very tough call .
I would suggest you to Not to Change Field. Because During Diploma you have already have experience of all the subjects and your Skills also developed as a Mechanical engineer.
though if you think you have good knowledge and and you can be very good with Computer Science. then you can go with it.I would suggest it would be difficult
