Doing Civil engineering from a good institute is a good choice indeed. Just study hard and do justice with the branch and in the end you will realize that you have made the right choice.

You can do Aeronautical Engineering specialisation after Mechanical engineering graduation also but I will recommend that you do B.Tech AE and then do super specialisation at M.Tech. You can evaluate IIT Powai, PEC University Chandigarh, IIST, Manipal university, Amity University etc. Amity has 5 year integrated M.Tech program in Aerospace Engineering and it is a very well recived in industry.
