Yes, of course. There are other exams you can consider taking like MAT, ATMA, SNAP, CMAT, XAT, NMAT and CAT, which are of national-level. Out of these, exams like CAT, XAT, SNAP and NMAT will fetch you some top B-schools, provided you score really well in the exams.

You have less chances, if you are from general category. If you are from SC or ST from outside Maharashtra, then you can get:
1. Indira – Pune.
2. Atharva.
3. Alkesh Dinesh.
4. Vidyalankar.

MAH-CET is very useful, not only in Maharashtra but also in few colleges outside Maharashtra. You can also try for MAT exam which is conducted in May.

Savitribai Phule Pune University, also known as PUMBA is a top college which accepts Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHCET). 95 percentile in MHT-CET would be a good score to be on the safer side.

Yes, you can apply. If you want to apply to Maharashtra State Engineering colleges, then you can take MH-CET.
The eligibility are as follows:
1. Applicants are required to have passed class 12th or equivalent examination in physics, chemistry and mathematics (PCM) with at least 50% aggregate marks from any recognized board/ university.
2. Eligibility requirement for qualifying exam for all other categories (SC, ST and OBC) is 45% aggregate in physics, chemistry and mathematics (PCM).
