Yes, NIFT has the right to cancel any of the examination centres. Also, in such a scenario, the candidate will be allocated an alternate centre.

Note that any change in NIFT 2024 exam centre will be notified on the NIFT admission portal - niftadmissions.in. The candidate will also be provided with a helpline number, where they can reach out in case of any doubts or issues.

In case of the B. Des and B.FTech programmes, the candidates should be less than 24 years as on July 1 of the admission year. There is relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories. However, there is no age limit for applying to the postgraduate programmes at NIFT. When applying for admission to design courses at the NIFTs, the candidate must also carefully go through the academic requirements. Note that even if a candidate qualifies the NIFT Entrance Exam but doesn't meet the prescribed eligibility criteria, he or she will not be considered for admission.

Yes, While taking mock tests of other exams can help you improve your overall test-taking skills, it is recommended to focus primarily on mock tests specifically designed for the NIFT 2024 exam.

NIFT has its own unique exam pattern, syllabus, and marking scheme. By practicing with NIFT-specific mock tests, you can familiarize yourself with the exam format, time management, and the types of questions typically asked in the NIFT entrance exam.
