NIFT offers B.Des in Fashion Design, Leather Design, Accessory Design, Textile, Knitwear design, Apparel Production and Fashion Communication. To answer your other question, no, you don't have to opt for science to qualify for NIFT. You can opt for any stream. All that you need to appear for NIFT exam is your design aptitude.

NIFT entrance is a national level entrance examination conducted for admissions into graduate and post graduate courses of design and is specifically designed to select candidates for various design subjects. You can refer to the links below to understand both tests, CAT as well as situation test:

Admission is through counselling based on the cumulative score calculated on the basis of marks in CAT (Creative Ability Test) and GAT (General Ability Test)/ SAT-1/Special NRI Test and Situation Test. Following weightage is given to various parameters
Written Test-80% (Creative Ability Test-50% and General Ability Test-30% or SAT-1/ Special NRI Test-80%)
Situation Test-20%. Regards.
