The courses offered by NIFT are full time courses. You will not be able to manage your studies with your job. You will only be able to pursue a course from NIFT if you give up your job as fashion courses are demanding and require full time dedication.

If you happen to get admission in NIFT, and you are talented enough, you'll surely be having a fabulous future. NIFT has a very active placement cell that helps with internship and job opportunities in various fashion houses and export house. After some experience, you can also have your own fashion business. Yes, you can. The UPSC eligibility criteria want you to be a graduate in any stream. But, do give it a thought why you want to pursue fashion and then become an IAS. It gets quite contradictory.

It's really not necessary to be a good artist.
What you actually need is to be super creative and you also require to be good at aptitude. If you are creative and imaginative enough, you can be at the top. Also, work on the execution of your imaginative ideas.
