Bachelor of Design or Bachelor in Fashion Technology are distinct courses but follow the same academic stream. Bachelor of Design includes conceptual design, furniture design, interior design, etc. , whereas Bachelor in Fashion Technology allows students to develop, design, manage, and sell fashion items. No, there is no process to get B.FTech (apparel production) even after filling out B. Des in the NIFT application form. I hope this will help you.
