To get selected for the MBA course at NIT Calicut, candidates are required to qualify for the general eligibility criteria first that states, candidates must qualify for their graduationa and Class 12 with at least an aggregate of 60%. Additionally, candidates seeking admission to this course must apply and appear for the CAT exam in the first place. NIT Calicut provides various safety and security measures for the students. For managing hostel facilities, two wardens, a caretaker, an office assistant and resident tutors are available in the hostel on all working days. Anti-ragging measures are strictly followed. The students must adhere to the disciplinary code, which applies to all activities/events on the campus. The security personnel ensures the safety of the residents 24/7. According to Engineering NIRF report 2024 of NIT Calicut, the median package offered during BTech placements stood at INR 11.7 LPA, respectively. Earlier, the highest and average package offered during NIT Calicut placements 2023 stood at INR 50 LPA and INR 13.77 LPA, respectively. Further, the median package offered during NIT Calicut placement 2023 stood at INR 10 LPA. The placement rate recorded during NIT Calicut placements 2023 was 83.65%.
