National Institute of Technology Calicut and Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology Nagpur are the two prominent colleges for BTech CSE admissions. Both colleges accept JEE Main scores for admission to the BTech and BTech Integrated courses. NIT Calicut cutoff for Round 5 for the CSE specialisation stood at 4742 and 4482 for 2023 and 2024, respectively. The NIT Calicut cutoff 2024 has been released across multiple specialisations. Based on the Last Round seat allotment, the MSc cutoff ranks ranged between 1130 and 1312 for the General AII India category students. Among all the MSc specialisations, M.Sc. in Mathematics is the most competitive. So, considering the Last Round cutoff, candidates seeking admission to NIT Calicut must secure over and above the cutoff range mentioned here to be eligible.

Yes, National Institute Of Technology is a government institute. It is also one of the 31 institutes set up by the government termed as ' Institutes of National Importance ' . The institute is funded by the Ministry Of Education, India.

Candidates have to score at least 75% (65 for the reserved categories) to be eligible for admission at NIT Calicut.
There are different criterias for admission in different courses at NIT Calicut. For courses like BTech and B.Arch, candidates have to appear in the JEE main examination- Paper 1 and 2.
For MSc programmes, candidates will be evalueted on the basis of JAM Score, followed by the centralized counselling process.
