With this score there are really less chances of getting any course at any of the respected institutes of NIT.With a 53 percentile in JEE Mains 2025, it is unlikely to get a seat in a popular NIT like NIT Calicut, especially in highly sought-after branches like Computer Science, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, particularly for the general category.
Admission to NITs, including NIT Calicut, is highly competitive, with cutoffs for these branches often above 95 percentile.

With this rank of 3700 in EWS, you can not get ECE in NIT calicut by any means. You can get civil or mining or even chemical engineering easily. you can get ECE in other NITs but not in Calicut .

If you're SC category female aiming for NIT Calicut you'll need a seriously good rank for CSE like under 789 for other state seats or under 4674 for home state in 2025. So 80 percentile is far from enough to grab CS at NIT Calicut.

For a JEE Paper 2 rank of 250, the estimated percentile is around 99.97-99.98. This is based on Paper 1 data, so actual percentile may vary.

Admission to M.Tech in NIT Calicut is Chiefly located by scores in GATE or counseling of CCMT. But within this they also have a Self-Sponsored section in the M.Tech programs such as Computer Science and Engineering. In these seats one qualifies based on his or her performance in a written examination and/or interview by the concerned department. Thus, you could have a chance to make use of the self-sponsored scheme and receive your admission on the basis of their personal directed test and interview in spite of the low mark in GATE. Self-sponsored seats are the ones in which financial aid/stipend is usually not provided.
