For the OBC AI category, the lowest rank was 1986 in the last round. This was for the BArch course. On the other hand, for the OBC HS quota, the lowest rank to get into NIT Rourkela was 1585. Please note that other categories and quotas will have different cutoffs accordingly.

For the General AI category, the NIT Rourkela JEE Main cutoff 2025 varied from 369 to 85536. The institute accepts the JEE Main entrance examination results, followed by the JoSAA counselling process. NIT Rourkela MSc cutoff 2024 has been released across multiple specialisations. Based on the Round 1 seat allotment, the MSc cutoff score ranged between 132 and 1139 for the General AII India category students. Among all the MSc courses, M.Sc. in Life Science is the most competitive specialisation. So, considering the round 1 cutoff, candidates seeking admission to National Institute of Technology Rourkela must secure over and above the cutoff range mentioned here to be eligible.

NIT Rourkela offers admission based on Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) and JoSAA counselling process. Since the official cutoff is not out yet, here is the tentative cutoff for the year 2024 :

•  Electrical Engineering
