See, if you want IIT you should give improvement. But if you hope for NIT you may or may not. Because rank is not affected by 12th marks. So decide wisely as you have to crack JEE Mains and good score in 12th. It's not difficult but you have to be dedicated. Think wisely. Good luck. Hope it helps.

If you belong to any category, then your category rank matters. You will get NIT Moreover if you have a benefit of home state. Just see through the previous year cut off and decide accordingly for your branches. But I think you will get it.

No, you have to get some sort of marks in JEE Mains. You need to score 150+ to get NIT from general category. You can try for Government College, Semi Government College, and top private college.
