NIT do not have lateral entry system. Diploma is considered equivalent to class 12th in NIT, so you have to appear in JEE Mains to get admission in NIT. If you score good rank, then you will get admission there.

Score of atleast 180+ in JEE Mains and advanced to get a CSE seat in top IITs/NITs/IIITs. In terms of rank in top 1000 in SC category will give you a good chance to get a specialisation of your choice. Just for reference check the below link-
