You should just prepare for NITs. Work hard and get in any NIT. Then, you will have to select Computer Science Engineering. Then, do cyber security course online and then you will get that job.

Hi Dharan,
There are few chances to get any NIT or IIIT with desired branch. You should go through the counselling, Hope you get any college. Otherwise go for some private engineering college like Nirma University, LPU, Chandigarh University, JECRC, SKIT Jaipur, Amity University, Anna university, Manipal University etc. Thanks.

Hi Abhimat,
NIT Silchar is the oldest NIT in NorthEast India. Afterwards TEC has been converted to NIT Agartala. Both have good lab facilities, faculty members and well established campus. The new NITs are struggling to establish proper campus and faculty members. So definitely NIT Silchar and NIT Agartala stands way before the other NITs of Northeast. However if you ask for the best I would say NIT Agartala is now dominating in Northeast after IIT Guwahati because of the number of campus placement and the various offers students are fetching from the companies. For admissions to NITs/ IIITs/ GFTIs, candidates should have secured at least 75% marks in class 12th exam or be in the top 20 percentile in the class 12th exam conducted by the respective board. For SC/ ST candidates, the eligibility criteria is 65% marks in class XII. The cutoff percentage of top 20 percentile for respective boards are given at

It totally depends on your interest.
Scope: Both the branches have vast scope. Period. Research:Studying a branch is easy but to master it is difficult. And reading about Researches is one way. There are Researches going in both the subjects. It largely depends on you which topics you like.
