No, you cannot get admission in Aeronautical Engineering course after completion of your Diploma course in Computer science, simple reason being that computer science has nothing to do with Aeronautical Engineering. An NIT degree matters a lot which can become the fruitful outcome for the upcoming years of life. Though DSCE is a well-renowned college and known for its excellence after its huge struggle for existence for a deemed college, but the amount of funds and officials working in NIT are exceptional and thus the same get reflected into the undergrads and newbies working and studying there.
The placements, in DSCE on an average, is around 5 Lacs per annum though few getting good quality placements of around 12 Lacs in reputed companies such as Oracle, Sap, Capgemini, etc.
Whereas when compared to MNIT-Jaipur, the average placements are par at around 10 Lacs per annum, highest being around 20 to 30 Lacs.
The most important factor working in the NITs is their vibrant culture and atmosphere and the dreamy life every engineering students aspire about.
So, getting up to the conclusion, no doubt MNIT is the best, and if you get into CSE at MNIT as it is tough to get into, don't miss the opportunity.

Let us compare on the basis of placements, in CMR Institute of Technology, the percentage of students placed in 2016 batch was about 96%. The highest salary offered was about 8 LPA and the lowest was 1 LPA as per my knowledge. Names of some of the companies are L&T, Deloitte, Delta X. TCS, etc.
