No, you cannot get admission in Aeronautical Engineering course after completion of your Diploma course in Computer science, simple reason being that computer science has nothing to do with Aeronautical Engineering. Only candidates who have completed three years Diploma course in Aeronautical Engineering are eligible or qualified to get admission in Aeronautical Engineering course. DSCE is better than NMIT in terms of placements and infrastructure.
Here is quick comparision between them.

Intake:- 180 (aeronautical)
Placements
Average package:- 3.5 lakhs (aeronautical)

An NIT degree matters a lot which can become the fruitful outcome for the upcoming years of life. Though DSCE is a well-renowned college and known for its excellence after its huge struggle for existence for a deemed college, but the amount of funds and officials working in NIT are exceptional and thus the same get reflected into the undergrads and newbies working and studying there.
The placements, in DSCE on an average, is around 5 Lacs per annum though few getting good quality placements of around 12 Lacs in reputed companies such as Oracle, Sap, Capgemini, etc.
