The Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) is ranked the 5th best Law School of India by the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF 2025). While NLIU Bhopal was ranked 27th by the same.
Further in terms of placements the median package was INR 18 LPA in 2024 for GNLU Gandhinagar while the same for NLIU Bhopal was INR 16 LPA.
In short, GNLU Gandhinagar is better than NLIU Bhopal in terms of placements and ranking and may be a better choice for many students.

NLIU Bhopal CLAT cutoff 2026 has been concluded for admission to five-year integrated law and LLM courses. In the last round, the CLAT closing rank was 459 for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and 698 for the B.Sc. LL.B. (Hons.) [Cyber Security] law courses at the undergraduate level. For the LLM course, the required cutoff rank was 420 across multiple specialisations for admission.

NLIU Bhopal offers admission to the 5-year integrated law courses based on CLAT entrance examination results, followed by counselling rounds. CLAT cutoff 2026 has been concluded, wherein the last closing rank for B.Sc. LL.B (Hons)(Cyber Security) and B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) course was 698 and 459, respectively, for students belonging to the General AI category.
For NLU Jodhpur, which also offers 5-year integrated law courses based on candidates' performance in the CLAT entrance exam, followed by the counselling process. The last round closing rank stood at 364 for the BA LLB (Hons) course for the General category candidates.

No, NLIU Bhopal does not provide 3 year LL.B course. Instead they yare known for offering a 5-year integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme and a 1-year LL.M. program. Maximum duration is seven academic years. There are two semesters in an academic year.The total cost to pursue this 5 year integrated course anges around INR 750000 excluding other expenses of transportation and food.
